Theres a reserve unit of RCR near London Ontario. Just found that out. I have a cousin who served with RCR and now hes with JTF2 (apparently, no one really knows he doesn't talk much hahaha). Upon graduation of University I was planning on going RCR. Anyway, At the moment I'm in the process of joining a Toronto based Regiment of Armd. RECCE, but I might transfer Universities to the University of Waterloo or Western. I would like to transfer units once I make this decision and I'm wondering if anyone knows how far Waterloo is from 4RCR? Just so I know before I make any decisions. lol

:mg:

Waterloo is about an hour's commute from London. If you are going to University there, you might want to consider the RHFC or the new Engineer Squadron.

If you are coming to Western, you have multiple choices; 4 RCR, 1H (Armoured); 22 SVC BN (Logistics and suport) or even HMCS Prevost (Naval Reserve). 31 CER (Combat Engineers) is a short drive down the road in St Thomas as well.

FYI

T Coy, 4 RCR in Stratford is about 40 mins. from Waterloo. At least a 1/2 hr. closer than London.

and one of my old units. much better then S Coy, those guys smell over there heh.
you'd have to rebadge if you're going from armoured recce to infantry as well.
I enjoyed my two some odd years I spent in the 4th battalion.

My cousin is in the Engineer Squadron, he really likes it. Also you forgot 31 MP Platoon, (self explanatory.)
