5 years?

Is it true that if you want to join the British military, you have to first live there for 5 years? Or can you join after immigrating. If anyone could please answer my question it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

P.S-This answer could determine my future so, thanks to who ever answers me.

Here's a thought, goto the British Army Recruiting site an find info there an/or email them?


Or search the forums; I think there was a thread on Canadians joining the British Military awhile ago.

You can actually chat with a recruiter in real-time on the British Army recruiting site, they are quite helpful.
