Hi to all,
I am trying to complete my webpage dedicated to the Royal Canadian Navy.  I need a list of all uniforms worn from the 50 to current.  IE No. 1 Ceremonial Dress, No. 11 white, No. ?? Naval Combat dress. Pictures of the uniforms would greatly help with full name, No. ?? and dates worn.  Same for trade badges.  I have the red trade badges worn on No.3 Work dress from the 50's, I have blue trade badges on white without a rim, blue/black on white with a rim.  Yellow trade badges on white, gold on green (looks like CF color for DEU, but I heard that the Canadian Navy didn't wear trade badges on uniforms), etc etc.
Have a look at my webpage http://jfchalifoux.com

Try here

http://mpmuseum.org/

I know it says MP Museum, however they have an extensive RCN section.

Cheers

The CF green uniform worn from approximately 1968 to 1985 did not have trade badges.  The DEU introduced starting in 1985 did (and still does).  Any green ones with gold embroidery are likely army trade badges.  They use the same trade symbols as the navy ones do, but are circular in shape and smaller.  The army ones also indicate trade level through the use of laurels and crowns.

I have a photocopy of a pre-unification RCN Dress Manual if you have any more specific questions.
