A Deeply Fractured US

To be clear, I think the entire thing is insane, so having footage of the shooter escaping with low level parkour is well within the realm of internet insane.

We aren't all seasoned investigators with decades of investigative experience to make us jaded about surveillance footage.
Oh, the whole thing overall, absolutely, I’m with you.

To be clear I’ve never investigated a shooter on a rooftop… Just seen lots of people try to get away from stuff over the years. I guess yeah, pretty jaded to video. Sorry if I came across as condescending.

Theres a take going around the internet from some folks that the shooter didn’t flee with the rifle. I see him with something over the rifle, possible a black towel, and then he drops from the roof- he bends over to get an item that appears to have fallen out of the “towel”. The resolution of the video I’ve seen, same as the tweet, doesn’t lend to identifying the item- especially a video of a video. It almost is too narrow to see.

There are very “tactical” people saying it saying it’s a false FBI narrative.

I don’t know why they are doing that beyond clicks. It’s sad times.

FBI and Kash Patel are taking some flak on all sides about how this whole thing was handled.

Maybe firing the Utah field office head recently for “reasons” was a bad idea…
