Update on the Minnesota manhunt from yesterday’s political assassination: The suspect’s vehicle was found dumped this morning in a rural area close to his hometown of Green Isle. Police have flooded into the area and the manhunt continues. The last positive ID was from about 6 am yesterday a couple hours after the shooting when he returned briefly to a place he rents a room in for work. That said, the car could easily have been there for over 24 hours by now.
Rumors going around that his wife may have been detained in a traffic stop, but nothing I can put any credence to at this time. The sources are pretty garbage.

The manhunt for Vance Boelter continues into its second day. Law enforcement identified him as the suspect who fatally shot Minnesota Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband, and injured Sen. John Hoffman and his wife.
