A Deeply Fractured US

So, if someone owns a truck they are compensating for something?

This is the culture wars BS that makes it impossible to have rational conversations with people. You're not superior because you choose to not drive a truck.
There is not a car on the road that can haul my trailer or go places I take my truck.
I've been married for 53 years. Penile compensating is not something I worry about.😉

Some yes - I drive a Ram. I don't tailgate.

Alot of the sewing machine cars tailgate. I fckin hate them

I get in the right lane, figure out the rough constant speed of the existing traffic and cruise. I let the fools go by.

If I have the highway to myself I set cruise at +10 and let it ride.

But Its always some civic type car that's so far up my tailgate and all I can see is the top the roof.

Brock: Because even RMC deserve to be able to look down on another school.

I recently got scolded for calling Brock and Carleton last chance U's.

The young couple I pulled out of a snow bank didn't seem to complain about me and my truck. In fact they were down right thankful for me and my penile compensation tool.

DHS continues to erode whatever crumbs of credibility they have left. Makes you question how many of those criminals they claim to have deported, were actually criminals.

A federal judge reprimanded Donald Trump’s administration for claiming that an immigrant seeking his release from custody was convicted for marijuana possession in 2009 — when he was 4 years old.

Anyone else see the glaring issue here?

Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco (R ), a GOP candidate for California’s governorship, seized more than a half million ballots from a November special election to approve redrawing congressional districts in a way that favored Democrats.

Bianco said his probe was sparked by a local elections group that claims the results were off by 45,800 votes. This group was looking at the difference between handwritten ballot intake logs, and the total number of votes reporter to the state.

California Attorney General Rob Bonta (D) and Riverside County Board of Supervisors, Registrar of Voters Art Tinoco say, however, say the differnece was just around 100 votes. The measure was approved in the county by more than 80,000 votes.

Bianco has defended his actions and said it has nothing to do with his campaign for governor.

Another American that won't go back...

Americans don’t recognize the damage Trump is doing, says novelist John Irving

U.S.-Canadian novelist says he won’t travel to America to promote new book

Acclaimed novelist John Irving won’t be travelling to the U.S. to promote his new book, because he thinks U.S. President Donald Trump has made his “beloved birth country virtually unrecognizable.”

“What Trump is doing — in the overreach of his executive power — is overreaching democracy. But I don't know how many Americans recognize it for what it is,” Irving told The Current’s Matt Galloway.

Irving is a dual U.S.-Canadian citizen who now lives in Canada, best known for his books The World According to Garp and A Prayer for Owen Meany.
