Addiction specialist

I did my medical test 2weeks ago, everything was fine, except for my past cannabis use. I pretty much stop 1 year ago (End of November 2024), but I re-use casually in October for about 2weeks, and now they asking me a diagnostic from a Addiction Specialist ( Specialiste en Toxicomanie ).

I'm not too sure where I'm suppose to find someone that can attest the DND 2770 files they sent me.

I'm in Quebec Province, Eastern Township, I have already called 811, and the GAP, also two place specialise in addiction but no one seems to know where I should go. Only the GAP gave me an appointment with a family physician, but I'm really sceptic about it.

Anyone can guide me?

Some family physicians have extra training in dealing specifically with addictions medicine - you may be getting one of these (hopefully). We have clinics in Manitoba called RAAM - Rapid Access to Addictions Medicine - anything similar out your way?

Couldnt find one in my area, probably need to go in Montreal at the CHUM.

My appointment is next friday with the family physicians the GAP (Qc) found me. So I guess ill wait there to see if he can fill my DND 2770 cause I specify the agent at the GAP that I need a physician with addictions medicine speciality.
