Advancements in Canadas army

Ok, so I want to join the Military.  However I don't want to be just the everyday run-of-the-mill infantry.  I want to be a bit more advanced.  Does Canada have any elites?  Do we have anything even like marines, Seals, Commandos, Pathfinders, Special Forces.  Thanks for all replies.

There is no such thing as the "run-of-the-mill" infantry in the CF. Everyone is a SuperEliteNinjaCommando  The marines/seals have nothing on us.

Umm, for any of the "elite" units of the CF, you're going to have to spend some time as an "every-day, run-of-the-mill" tradesman (be it Combat Arms, Support, or deck-mopper).

I too have a friend that wants to join as a General (minimum) to date he has not had much luck!

Anything in life you undertyake requires that you start at the bottom. If anyone tells you different then they've seen you coming and are taking you for a ride!
