I'm 17 years old in grade 12 and i will be graduating this year. I've wanted to be a doctor for a few years but recently i considered the option of being a doctor in the forces. I went on the website and watched the video for Medical Officer and it seemed like something i would love to do. I went to the recruitment center to get more information on what i could do to apply. The person i talked to told me that to be a Medical Officer you needed to have finished your undergraduate degree for them to subsidies your studies in med school but told me that i could join the reserves in the meanwhile. He told me that in the reserves i could be a medical technician.

Now i was wondering if i chose this path, would i get the training necessary from the reserves to become a medical technician while i am in university, and would i be able to transfer to medical officer once i have my degree? What would i do in the reserves?

Thanks
