Not sure if I've posted this before, but here's a pretty good comic about the USAF.  It was created by a Sgt who ended up designing the USAF UAV pilot wings, which is ironic since it's about a fighter pilot who hates them!

One of his common tangents is the whole "manned pilot v. UAV pilot" thing:

Enjoy!

I got introduced to this site by an OJT who was working for me.  Go to the very beginningnto get a real feeling for who "Barbie" really is.  ;D

See, now it's stuff like this that makes me dread finding awesome new webcomics. I've been following AF Blues since about last summer, but I do need to get around to reading the archives eventually. But the bloody guy's been updating, consistently, on a daily basis for almost 4 years. Which really is rather impressive for any webcomic artist, let alone one who has an actual day job. Quite a daunting task.

From the comments (both under the comic and when you put your mouse on the strip itself), there's also a members-only comic that the guy does!  I don't know if I'll join though.

As an aside, I'm sure someone in the CF has done something like this and is keeping quiet about it.  I'm not sure that some of the stuff that's on AFBlues (and even less so on Terminal Lance) would go over well with the G&M Test.

Suffice it to say that this would be something I'd only consider as a post-retirement project :)

Plus I can't draw worth a damn unless I'm working off a photo anyways.
