I was wondering if anyone herd the radio play on CBC last night called "Afganida" it was following a squad of Candaian Soldiers in Afghanistan. Last night was part 1 of 6 and I will actully say it was a good play. Although the squad Sergeant was kidnapped and was killed at the end which is rather un realistic. But if you didnt it's on CBC radio at 23:00 on sunday's on the show "sunday showcase".

(PS i wasnt sure where to put it so Admin's feel free to move it to Radio Chatter)

I only heard about 10 minutes of it last week, been meaning to post about it. What I heard sounded interesting. I'm sure some of the details will be way off and there'll be dramatic licence taken as it's a play, after all. Did you find it portrayed the CF in a good light?

I found it fair i mean the woman MCPL wasn't very bright, and the LAV they we're in flipped over. But there was one part where the MCPL kind of broke down and said that there wasn't any reason for them to be there and they wont really change anything but it didn't last long. Although i was rather annoyed with the corespondent who they were to take back to base was a blaring Leftist.

But all in all for the CBC it was rather good
