AFP Fakes story about U.S. Military in Iraq

Anyone with half a brain could tell you that the story is obviously fake. She is holding TWO UNSPENT CARTRIDGES. Not "bullets." The only way those cartridges got into her house would be if someone threw them there.

Looks like AFP is taking a page out of TFN's book.  :

There's another plausable explanation other than someone throwing them at her house ..  ;D

Perhaps two US soldiers just happened to be passing by her house when, dammit, their weapons both just happened to jam. Of course, one would then have to state that the soldiers must have had the right sides of their bodies towards the strucken residence (ie were not facing it, nor were their weapons pointed towards it) in order to cock the action, clear the jam as the unspent cartridge would leave the weapon from the right hand side on it's flight to landing ... apparently after striking her wall.

I can not believe that a reporter didn't find this story obviously WRONG. Nor any editorial staff etc in it's processing.

But, how many ID 10 Ts are there out there who just don't know the friggin' difference and will buy it wholesale?? The thought of finding out the answer to that scares me, actually.   :
