Alberta government thread

How does one approve or deny a proposal that hasn't been made?
Proposals were already made, they were denied a few years ago. Dontnforget The current PM was a consulting the former PM on these matters.
Currently those denied proposals are being reevaluated to see the feasibility of them going forward under the current governments Rules and regulations.
I wouldn't hold my breath waiting on the actual changes. Many more expensive hoops to.jump through.

Hopefully we can get the port built in Oregan to ship oil. They expressed an interest a few years ago. We can build that next to the Potash terminal BC turned down.

Okay, so nothing you're saying has anything to do with the current situation.

Thanks, bye.

What new proposed pipeline has been approved?
CNRL It is pretty damming when a $8.2 Billion dollar project is shelved due to policies and uncertainty. This project has everything to do with this situation and discussion. I am not hand feeding you examples. They are in the news and pretty critical of the overall "promises" which are creating larger issues.
If we want to grow our economy we need to sell product. Since Middle Canada cant figure out how to make a go of it on the manufacturing export side of things on more then a minor scale then it has to be natural resources.
Support the industries that can make the money and keep making the money long term. (those are also the companies building renewable energy projects that work).

We can go around in circles till the cows come home, but this conversation isn't goint to be productive until that is rectified.

And seeing as I don't like waiting on cows, I bid you adieu.

If these FN groups just relaxed and kept their heads down, they would realize that the sovereignty movement is collapsing under the weight of its own stupidity.
While thats true, they want her held accountable for her own actions to help them

If Quebec first nations tried this in 95 the oui side would have won.

A bit of situational awareness would do them some good. Save this until November.

Maybe look up Southbow, CNRL, and any large oilfield projects and where they sit for approvals.
Your hatred for Alberta poltics and the Provincial Government clouds your ability to look past your opinions.

Southbow has Canadian approval, its waiting on US approval.

CNRL was waiting for the federal emissions negotiations to end, which they have, but arent waiting on any approval.

So kinda poor examples to be honest.

I am more than capable of looking past how I feel. Im even on record as saying i think Danielle Smith was wily in her referendum on a referendum as a way to get out of the conundrum she was in, and im no friend of Danielle Smith.
