We literally ran after it on foot for at least 2 km. It zig zagged all over the place, made no noise, and eventually just seemed to vanish completely.We ran through some trees to get to a bit of a hill to see it better and it was gone.

whole thing lasted about 5 minutes.Couldnt tell you how far away it was, but binoculars or something would have been excellent.

    You ran 2kms in 5 minutes?  Damn, that ain't half bad....
