My file is at Security Clearance Assessment since beginning of August. Could take a while since my home country is Brasil and I only got my canadian citizenship this February.
Patience is key I guess hehe
No worries at all. Congrats on becoming a Canadian Citizen! Hopefully it will come in soon, I hear it's a toss up with how long security clearances take. Do try and call CFRC periodically to see if you can get updates. Best of luck in your application and future career in the CAF!

When you compare background check and reliability status does that mean it took 4 months for you to hear back? If so, I have a few questions: did you followup monthly? are you a canadian citizen?
Background Check was the part done by Gambit. That only took a couple of weeks.
The Reliability Status was a form I had to fill (TS330 I believe), which I completed in January and heard back about May.
Once that came back clearwd I Submitted the forms for the Security Background Check (Level 3 required)
I started my application as a PR, become Resident on April 2024.
Just realized I made a mistake. I became CITIZEN not Resident on April 2024

Residency & Travel Outside Canada
The questionnaire by Gambit was done just prior these 2 docs I listed above
YEs!
First documents I had to complete was the TBS 330-23E.
After that I had to fill the TBT 330-60.
