I should clarify there were 2 Pl's and ANA, they were very successful in that they made us withdraw from the the contact, save for overrunning us I would call that a victory on their part.

I answered the question about us withdrawing, it was not to do casualties but  lack of man power to hold any ground we took. Yes we gained lodgement into the school but we left it. There were no heat casualties to my knowledge.

The questions about securing and the heat exhaustion are relevant.  I do not know the answers, hence the question.  They are very relevant points when planning for operations in Afghanistan.  When we had our fight at the white school we had lots of heat casulties, the ANP run away, and artillery denied.  The questions are not intended to pee anyone off.  They are the questions from someone who has been in the same situation and wants to compare notes.  That is all

This has been a great discussion so far. The yellow portion is uncalled for, let us not cast stones at each others work under fire.

As Kiwi has already said, I don't think any malice was intended. It seemed to be just an honest question about what happened.

2CDO,

Roger that, the first part of the question is public knowledge hense my response.
