Does the CF have nurses?  I am a male interested in nursing and I was curious if there were army hospitals in Kandahar.  Any army nurses out there?  I did a search and found nothing.  Do army nurses work overseas in other hospitals?  I can image a male nurse in the army might take a lot of criticism also, but I am not afraid.  :)

Last night you wished to be a medic in Afganastan...........but you don't want to go on exercises. Now you wish to be a nurse but you think you would get a "hard time".
Smells like teen troll.....

Well Id like to go to Afghanistan in relation to the health sevices, sorry for the confusion.  Oh I want to go on ex. but I dont have the time.  I just appriciate the fact that my unit is relaxed in the sense that they dont give me too hard of a time  ;)

yeah i think its a realistic idea, getting a hard time to be a male nurse in the army.  On my basic there was a lot of discrimination based upon race - it happens everywhere yes - but its a fact.  I think there should be more race awareness training in basic.

tookieman, you're been a member for 24 hours and have found time to ask the same question a few times. But there's no indication you are doing anything to find answers for yourself. I suggest you start here, at a response to your first post:

I will lock this thread so you don't have two threads covering the same ground.
