I wasn't sure where to put this.
Assassins Creed Origins comes out in October and looks pretty amazing.

It's set in Egypt this time, 49BC. These games usually have a lot of historical research put into them with some creative licensing. They usually do a good job at having your character interact with key historical figures. You might defend Thomas Edison while he's doing an experiment, help Leonardo Di Vinci find lost schematics or investigate who was behind the French revolution.
To the hardcore game fans there are some $999 pre-orders still available if you can believe it ;D
