I am mildly asthmatic and I was wondering if this is going to be a problem for my joining the reserves.  I have my asthma completely under control and I have no problems with it now with the excercise I do (running, weight lifting).  I am trying to join the Royal Regina Rifles as an Infantry Soldier and I really don't want this stupid little thing to stand in my way of serving my country.  I have searched other threads but I find a lot of mixed info.  Clarification would be great.  Preferably from someone who knows first hand, but anyone is welcome.

Thanks!

Thanks, much appreciated.  I really hope I can do well with the tests.  I have always had my asthma under control, but I don't know what they will have to say about being an infantry soldier.  I guess I'll just have to wait a few more weeks until my medical/interview.

Anyway, thanks again!

As I was told during my application, if you can pass the tests and thrive as a member of the CF, you're good. If not...
