Towards the water side it's a pretty decent decent....

Still about 200 m vertical. One might stretch the run to about 1.2 kms. The math eludes me but I think it'd not be economically viable.

Most people don't realize that Ontario Power Generation has used pumped storage at its Adam Beck II GS in Niagara Falls since the mid-1950s. International treaty limits the amount of daytime water diversion so they draw it at night and pump it into a reservoir for release during the day when demand is higher. The vertical drop is around 100m.
