basic training as reservist

I am joining as a reservist and i am wondering when basic training is usualy held? I would like to do it in the winter. I have a small cash crop farm and i have 4 to 5 months during fall and winter. The night a week and weekend a month is fine but can i do more time a week than that?

As a Pte recruit you won't be very employable so don't expect to be working any more then the one night a week. 

Reserve BMQ runs on weekends during the fall/winter,  there are also full time summer courses.  Search around the forums and you can find more info regarding the weekend BMQ and full time courses.  Also,  keep in mind that you will be gone some summers for career courses, etc
