Hi, I searched for a bit and I couldn't find anything on this. Can I bring my paintball marker to BMQ so on weekends when theres some free time I can go and play?

Like is there a place it can be locked? I have enough common sense to know that they probably will not like me keeping it in my room?

What, is a real firearm at BMQ not good enough for ya?  :P

I used to be an avid paintball player so I understand where you are coming from.  But I wouldn't bring it, I doubt you will time to arrange, much less play anywhere.

Ha ha ha I knew that was comming Med...

Well that sucks, but thanks for the info

There you go, a pretty good answer. Plus, the staff might not take to kindly to someone who would whip out a paint ball gun. ;)

Mods this can be locked now.

Don't think.

???

I'm not sure how that's going to help the individual in question.
How about you elaborate your answer based on your experience of
military BMQ and time spent in St. Jean.

Personally I don't know St. Jean or it's BMQ but I do understand there are
weekends off if they don't screw up and theoretically he could go play paintball.
And possibly he could lock it up somewhere with the rest of his civilian kit but I
defer that to people who have at least attended BMQ there and/or some of the
instructors from CFLRS who actually surf here.

88Rustang07 - keep searching for your answer. I'm sure there is possibly something
to be done as opposed to smart alec answers.

Well I'm not saying you can't bring it cause I don't know for sure.  I'm just saying I don't think you will have enough time to organize it.  But hey it depends how much you want to do it I suppose.  Good luck!

Cheers, Kyle

I have none, but I have read a lot, and I do believe (my personal opinion) that it would be pretty much a waist of time for him to bring it to St. Jean. As MTS stated, it would be quite hard to get it arranged to play.

Plus, I would keep it at home, in case some sticky fingers got on it, or something broke on it while on the way to St. Jean, an it would be deemed useless until BMQ would be over. Not only that, but I'm not sure if you even can bring it there (Can someone verify that?).

Hope that clears it up a bit more.

Cheers

Speaking of smart alec answers .... If you have little more to add than shit-disturbing and picking on other posters with that sort of attitude, perhaps you could save some bandwidth and keep it to yourself. That would be the Christian thing to do.

Perhaps YOU missed the response given my Medtechstudent, which did answer the question.
