Wow, take it easy. Its a stupid uniform man, nothing to freak out about. So its automatically a good uniform because some Canadian troops died in them? I mean really, would you say the same thing about a weapon?

Some people are proud of the uniform they serve, and it is NOT just a stupid uniform, man. Only a few months ago, I was still wearing the OD combats, and was **** proud, not of the fabric/cut/whatever, but what the uniform represents. That‘s why some people (Including myself, as I‘ve expressed in other topics) find offence to Canadian Forces uniforms being called republican guard uniforms. After all, I signed on to serve Canada, NOT the Ba‘ath party.

Last I heard it was about the guys on your team not the clothes they wear. It wouldn‘t matter jack $h1T if we were in the field anyway, as you would be so covered in cr@p that you would look like a pig slough.

Lui, reference to the republican guard, an obvious slap to CF OD‘s, is pretty lame. You should know that by now.

Personally, I like the OD‘s. Lots of armies still use them, including Isreal, with success.

The OD‘s still work well. I was out yesterday in them. People were walking less than a metre away from me, and didnt have a clue. No scrim either.
