Hi, im currently doing my studies to become a paramedic while being in the reserve as a armoured soldier. I was wondering how would be the daily life as a paramedic in valcartier? I love being in the field and hate being in a office so would it be better for me to stay as a armoured soldier or will the paramedic trade give me plenty of time in the field ?

My experience is dated, but as a young medic in 1 Fd Ambulance in Calgary, I spent a lot of time doing not medical stuff - fixed sick trucks, did stock checks and supply management/maintained equipment...then occasionally did sick people fixing, especially in the early days. Did some duty at the Base clinic, the odd taskings with other units. Everyone's mileage varies of course .

You could - depends where you get posted...if you're staying Reserve, you'd be working in garrison and field and sometimes in office, especially as you progress in rank, as you're a boss and have to administer people.

Right now im a reservist as an armour soldier, I finishing my studies to become a paramedic and I was told I could start as a CPL as a paramedic when transferring from reserve to reg force. And also im aiming to go to valcartier

Gotcha...you'll go to 5e Amb de Camp and work there and by farmed out to base or the other brigade units as it's seen fit.
