I think the democrats may have finally realized the republicans have such a slim hold on the House now that the GOP cannot afford for even one seat to vote with the democrats, three voted with them here.

I think *members of his staff know exactly why Canada is in no rush to ‘deal a deal’ with the U.S. - SCOTUS decision still not issued, USMCA negotiations not yet formally kicked off, any number of behind-the-scenes whispering campaigns to make issues out of non-issues.…the list goes on. A principle of negotiation is don’t commence negotiations until it’s time to negotiate.

When my next vehicle purchase comes, which will probably be a three row family vehicle pretty soon, I will absolutely be putting some effort into to understanding the geography of the supply chain of anything I’m considering. I will spend a bit of time looking into how the various manufacturers in play have approached this subject.

In the 1990’s, the US Big 3 had 70% of the CDN market share. By 2005 it was 50%. Last year the had 36.5% of the Canadian market.
You can see clearly the trend.
Chrysler (Stellantis) is down to 6% market share in Canada….
