Burtons winter gear sucks

I have a pair of gloves from burton and the first time I used them snowboarding it was really cold and some of the material started to crack and flake off.

They do make excellent snowboard boots though and my feet are not frozen after a few hours of night snowboarding.

Really eh? All my friends with their stuff swear by it...
I personally prefer Columbia for coats and pants, good Saloman(sp?) socks and boots and a nice set of Auclair gloves...

I like when they are trying to sell me bulls*** in snowboard shops like I am some noob.

They have trouble understanding the concept that they don't own my snowboard and never will so when I ask for sharp edges, sharpen the damn edges, and when I bring it in for a repair, fix it properly because if I knew that you would use a blow torch to fix my bindings I would of saved myself the trouble and taken a sledgehammer to the part and ordered a new one.

Why don't you fix your board yourself, then?

I've been tuning my own skis since I was 12, and every so often I do a snowboard for one of my buddies.

It saves a lot of money, plus I can get my skis the way I want 'em.

I was addressing to Pte Gagnon... not to you.   :salute:

Of course, that's why you quoted my post and not his.

Is there any difference when you wax or sharpen a snowboard vs a ski?

Not really. The concept is the same, just that there's a bigger area on a snowboard.
