This is BRILLIANT!!

:fifty: :gunner:

yikes, that‘s really making it around.. It seems as though almost EVERYONE in the military is forwarding this link around.

That was great. (In the aspects of humor)

I think spoofing (if they really we‘re) the CF in campaigns such as that can bring positive awareness to the public.
And the new Canadians that lack the knowledge of CF issues, may now have a say in the neglecting government towards the CF.

a spoof? everyone in that video is a soldier in the CF, and in Kabul, it was filmed when "christmas in kabul" with Rick Mercer was made(most likely) and what they were saying is true, well except maybe the "wearing brown camo in a green jungle",

back to the video, it is pretty funny

I seem to remember pictures of Canadians in tan (brown) combats in some desert country (Somalia or Iraq?). Maybe there was a jungle there :D

Afganistan?

No, it was a picture from a CF manual from the mid 1990s, where they still had steel helmets and no Elcan scopes...

Somolia...BEFORE the (fill in blank) hit the fan.

DNA;
Of course those we‘re real soldiers. I‘m not ignorant.
I did indeed see "Christmas in Kabul" The clip was not a commercial. It was not a video Journal. So yes. A spoof.

Giving the true nature of which the soldiers spoke and in the spoof of the beer add. I conclude it is a spoof.

It is conceivable that someone would miss understand. Nonetheless, it promotes awareness for a negative issue with positive a manner.

Dano, yea your right, but usually when I hear spoof, I think of something fake/making fun of something.
