Canadians going to Iraq

Can someone post a link to the chapters for Peace Keeping? I looked around the UN Peace Keeping site, but couldn‘t find the information.

Re: Jungle;

I mixed the chapters up, and I guess I spoke too soon WRT East Timor, I was reffering to the earlier on stages before Indonesia would allow much other than international Police in, and did little to quelch the intimidation tactics against voters.. I don‘t have as many details on how it ended, so thanks for correcting me.

I guess it will depend a lot on how real the Anti-US/UN, Pro-saddam image portrayed by the Iraqi Gov‘t is, and how much control they have over those who would want to sway a new goverment to their own favour...

Feed a man, and he is fed for a day. Teach a man to fish and he could be fed for a lifetime.

:D

Set someone on fire and keep them warm the rest of their life.

(Sorry had to heh)

Let‘s get reasonable, folks. Saddam is in no position to attack anyone, and in 11 years he only managed to shoot down only 1 unmanned aircraft. With an army that surrenders to umanned aircraft he is no position to export WMD, and therefore NOT an immediate threat to the US. The threat he poses to the US is probably less than our own home-grown terrorists, and certainly much less than a nuclear North Korea. So wheres the problem?

Pugil, obviously you need to find transportation to New York to explain to the UN security council the truth about the Iraqi situation. Then you should carry on to Washington and tell the Pres of the USA that he is absolutely wrong in his assessment of current international affairs, and set him straight !!! We‘re counting on you...
In the mean time, we clearly know your opinion on the subject, so please start beating another drum. :cdn:

I‘m new here thought I throw my two cents in.

More and more it seems, that Iraq is digging itself into a hole, very recently they began digging very fast. In the last couple of weeks the inspectors discovered shells two different times that could (most likely) be used for the delivery of chemical weapons, these shells were not disclosed to the inspectors or the U.N. in the report given by the Iraqi goverment. Just yesterday I believe, the inspectors to possesion of a 3,000 page document with information that had not been declared in the Iraq weapons declaration, Iraq seems to be tripping on its own shoe laces.

JGreen, welcome aboard EH !!! And good luck in your future career... :cdn:
