i accepted a CT transfer and will be going to kingston for OJT/reg f 3s/posting and just wanted to hear any stories/tips for a reservist going to reg f.  thanks.

We get a lot of you guys coming thru and turning to the light side.  My advice to you is to forget everything you did in the reserves and enjoy your new career.  Some things will be different like pay and leave but its all good.  If your from winterpeg, talk to Sgt Maxwell as hes been hard army (2 PPCLI) before he went to his RSS posting.

is it possible to do your OJT with your unit until a spot opens up in QL3s in Kingston instead of me leaving for Borden for PAT platoon?

Now I know we have a rule on MSN Speak here, and I am not sure what you have posted.  It looks like you have done a CT to Reg Force, and are going to do your 3's in Borden.  Now, I am not sure what promo info you got, but I am sure the info that is most relevant for you, is that from the CFRC who would be able to tell you exactly where you stand.  If you want to do OJT, you have to do it at a Unit, of which you don't have one yet.  If there is a possibility of OJT, the School in Borden will decide where they will send you.
