Changing from VR to Medical post release

Just looking for a point of contact to discuss the possibility of changing from a VR to a medical release based on a diagnosis received immediately after release.  The diagnosis is related to service and would warrant a medical release, but the MIR just couldn't get their ducks in a row and diagnose the right thing.  I'm guessing it probably can't be done but figured it was worth asking.

Is it a civilian doctor outside of the military who gave you the diagnosis that it's related to service?

Sounds like you'll need to submit a memo to cancel your VR request then engage the MIR to recommend you be placed on a P-Cat. Once (if) you get placed on P-cat it will then go to Ottawa for review and if it's deemed your restrictions violate the universality of service you'll (probably) be given a medical release but you may also just be offered a VOT to a different trade or retained with restrictions.

Sounds like member is already released.  None of those agencies less DMCA will deal with a member that has been released.

OP changing your release item post release is hard but can be done.  I think I have more stuff at work but here is a partial start on references taken from here https://army.ca/forums/threads/101133.0).
