CIC Officer Application Question

I am not 100% sure if CIC Officer would be a supported occupation for this forum, but I have a few questions that I really cannot find an answer to.

I have applied VIA forces.ca but the requirements it states that I need Recommendation from cadet corps / squadron CO, the sponsor and the League representative, but I have reached out to many cadet corps/squadrons in my area and have had no replies. So I was wondering is this a requirement to be recruited for this occupation? And if it is, how do I actually go about getting these recommendations from maybe the CIC Headquarters (Is there even one? Haha)

Would it be easier to go in on a night that they are gathering and talk to the CO? And if I chose Air for the application am I restricted to Air or can I talk to other Cadet corps/squadrons?

Once you have the recommendation of the cadet corps / squadron CO, the sponsor and the League representative, you will be contacted by the local Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) Recruiting Centre for an appointment.
