clarification re-Platoon No

Greetings.... would some kind soul please explain to me the following. and where I would go for more information
Father was in the army... stationed in England.... this is information on the back of a very old picture.
Platoon No. T ( we think) CO#2.C.A. (B> T.C. 120 Regina,Sask. Sept 1941.

It might actually be "7" or "1" instead of T, as platoons are numbered.

CO#2

second company of a battallion or regiment. "#2" makes sense as there are usually 3 or 4 platoons in a company. Therefore 7 platoon would likely be in 2 company.

probably unit, place photo was taken, and date.
My guess is (even though i am absolutely no authority on this, only going by intuition) "Canadian Army...Basic Officer(?) Training Course (course number 120) etc...

It would depend what Branch of the Army the Training Centre (TC) was working for. Not all organizations number their platoons. In the Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, for example, the platoons in a Maintenance Company can be called "A' and "B' Platoons. The Platoon could have been "T" for "tradesmen" or "technical" or "transport". The CO #2 is probably the training company number within the TC structure. A better answer would be found if one of our posters was able identify the role of TC 120.

This was not a trades training school.  It was, I assume, a common to arms basic training centre for Other Ranks. 

CA(B)TC = Canadian Army (Basic) Training Centre

Once basic training was complete, the soldier went on to trades training at one of the other schools identified on my site.
