Wondering if anyone that is familiar with the supply system could help me out.  I am looking for the stock numbers for parts of the cleaning kits for the C6 and 84mm.  All I have been able to find is phrases like "as per checklist".  Is there a site on the DIN that has the checklists for equipment .  Any help would be appreciated.

The QM should have Checklists on file, so that they can print "As Per Checklist" on their 638 Cards.  If they don't, then they should go find them.  Each Checklist is given a Publication Number, just like every other publication in the CF.

Simply ask at the QM and they can give you a copy. The parts are not accountable but, when assembled, the cleaning kit is.

Thanks for the info, I was trying not to bother QM as they are busy getting a task force out the door and this info is just for a side project of mine.  I will probably wait a few weeks and bother them then.

Depending on which kit, some are the Otis kits.  The NSN for these are on my website beside the kit or on the Otis site.

Farmboy, those are nice kits you sell.  I don't know who gets issued them (I can guess) but the cleaning kit I am restocking are the standard CF kits as per the C6 and 84 Pam.

DWAN:

"CFSS Web Query Tool" site.

You're looking for checklists ... that's where they're avail -- but you need a login, and it's not the most user-friendly site out there.  ;)

PM me your Checklist #s (S50146) etc ... and I'll download the CLs and email them to you (they are adobe format).

Needless, each item that is issued "as per checklist" should have a hardcopy of said checklist available. Seeing as how you're talking weapons EIS/cleaning kits etc, I'd be asking the QM where the hardcopies of the CLs were ... or having them download you a copy of them (the QM staff - Sup anyway- have logins too).

Rule #1: NEVER sign for anything on a temp loan (DND638) that says  "as per checklist", if you have not been given a hardcopy of the CL to ensure that you do in fact have all the items on the checklist. Lest you find yourself being held accountable for all items "as per checklist" when you return a kit --- only to find something wasn't in it originally. You've already signed for it --- and it's too late then ... now you're into an MLR situation.

Make the Sup Techs show you the checklist so that you can in fact verify that you do have all the checklist items. And, have them provide you with a hardcopy that you can retain if you want one.

ArmyVern: Thanks for the offer Lone Wolf got the stock numbers I needed from a weapons tech. I didn't even know the numbers for checklists I figured it would be listed by name(IE C6 cleaning kit).  Way too confusing. Just for the record I was putting in an ADREP and our weapons storesman wasn't familiar with all the parts and asked if I could give him the NSN to speed things up.  I did not sign for anything "as per checklist" but thanks for the reminder, it is a good rule for everyone to remember.

um who got the numbers from the Wpn tech?  ;D
I guess I should have done that from the get go mind you.

Considering dangerboy's location and unit, I can guarantee the QM staff have the ECLs available on file and/or will gladly provide him with a hard copy. The staff at 2 VP QM are second to none, though my opinion could possibly be biased ;)

I'd say. ;)

That said we try to minimize bothering the QM and their staff whenever possible.

I had no doubt in my mind that hard copies were available ... but as for the bit about biased opinions --- I'd have to wrassle you for the best QM  laurels!!  ;D
