Considering Joining as an adult

Perhaps this seems like a silly question. But Im 27, and seriously considering joining the forces. I feel confident that I will meet all the physical and educational requirements. But will my age at all be a factor? Will I be treated differently?

In the Basic Up reloaded episodes, there is a gent who is about 50 years old doing BMQ.  I think you'll be more than fine.
