Hello:
I was just given a job offer today.  I know that they do a second security clearance check upon arrival at St. Jean, and I am wondering about issues with my past employment.  My past employment is all over the map.  I realize that I have probably held a bit too many jobs even in the last 10 years.  It is not that I have a bad work ethic, but that because of certain situations have moved around for one reason or another. Before I had my interview I was working, but  after my interview and since my medical and background check were completed, I have been unemployed.  It is a bad area where I am living for finding employment and I could find myself unemployed up until i go to basic in November.

Will this be frowned apon, meaning could it cause harm to my getting into the CF even though I was already given a job offer?

If they don't do it until after you're at St. Jean, you're already in.
I'm sure they know about your past employment being "all over the place" because you told them, right?  ;)

Yes, they have already seen my employment history, but being unemployed now is new and they don't know.  But like you said.....I am already in.

Well, not yet.  I meant when you are in St. Jean you'll already be in.  ;)

Oh for crying out loud!

When you fill out the security forms in St Jean put down your employment history for the last ten years and move on. Nobody really cares as already posted you are in the CF and if it was an issue it would up been addressed before you were enrolled.  Concentrate on passing St Jean. Good luck.
