Never forget that there are segments of the US public that are brainwashed into believing the UK is Satan.

Unfortunately that is a 250 year old myth held closs by about a third of the population and largely promulgated by Brit refugees that washed up in America between 1717 and 1776 or so.

It was a factor in diplomacy even as late as 1956.
