Looks like freezing rain in my area tonight and lots of it:

If we go offline it's probably because I've lost power and the UPS only gives me a few minutes to gracefully shut things down. Keep your fingers crossed!

That damn rain. Keep me in Toronto for another night so I couldn't see Army.ca... :'(

Mike,
You could always move over here to Petawawa. Our power doesn't seem to go out as often as yours.

Mike,

I am really enjoying chipping the 1 1/2 inches of ice off my driveway....tell me again why the QOL is better in Ottawa than Edmonton?

[...it's a dry cold...]

Good to see that Army.ca is still up and running!

We usually get at least one of these a year here. Hopefully this is the one!

Damn.......can't seem to get away from these mid to high 40's. Was out watching my grass green up in the sun today. Was almost tempted to cut it, but it was to wet.

Yes, let's hope it is.  Rather shovel than pick at the ice any day.

Bah humbug.  Is Christmas over yet?  :'(

Hasn't gone below -10 here in the Free Republic of Central Alberta.... At last, that global warming they kept promising us seems to finally be here...

"Why you jerk"

Armymedic goes to kick recceguy in the butt, but as foot swings up, planted foot loses traction and Armymedic is temporaly suspended in mid air before crahing onto the ice crusted concrete.

"oww, my back"

Don't feel to bad, I haven't gone metric, so those temps are Fahrenheit ;) ;D

If it's any consolation, I've been using the snowblower nearly everyday for the last 2 weeks... We're still in dec and I am running out of space to blow the snow in. :o

The weather in NL is 8 degres C, and light rain, we don't even have snow or ice Left on the ground. Got to love Global Worming. ;D
