Can you get deployed in your first 3 years?? or only after your first contract??

sure can. I've seen guys head over right after their BIQ's. It depends if your unit is being deployed.

Im doing my BIQ in june and i *might* get an 18 months contract in september.

Sure Can.

We're "deployed" right now over in the Med, and every Ordinary Seaman on the ship has less than 30 months in.  We sailed with approximately 40-50 OS and AB rank personnel I think.  Most of them are on their first BE, ie, less than 3 years in.

You can, but it depends on trade, most Air Force techs (AVN, AVS, ACS) will never leave the country in their career. Unless they're MH techs but even still I think it takes nearly 3 years to be fully qualified and only fully qualified guys are assigned to Air Dets.
