Hi you all, I was wondering if you can help me with something, I used to be a Private(supp tech) with the army reserves and decided to switch to the navy Reserves again a Supp tech, I was qualified BMQ and SQ, when my letter of acceptance came in they didn't accept any of my courses so i essentially became a recruit and have to restart BMQ with NavRes in Borden.

My question is this, Is this course much harder than the Army Version of BMQ, not looking forward to re-doing it but you got to do what you got to do. I was hoping you guys can motivate me a bit  :P

Thanks a lot!

The NavRes course that is held in CFB Borden is equivalent to the Reg Force BMQ.
It's a hard course but a good one thats for sure. Don't get to discouraged, you'll have a good time, especially knowing a lot of the info already, just don't become one of "those" people...lol
Good Luck

Do you want to be in the military ?

YES ?

Consider yourself motivated....Good luck !

Ya thanks a lot guys and trust me , I won't be ''that'' guy, i want to fly as secretive as I can :P

I'm ready for it once and for all, Complete 2 BMQs , The CF gods work in mysterious ways.

Another simple, random question, i know the course is in combats for the first 7 or 8 of 10 weeks and after that I hear it's in Naval Combats. What happens at this point of the course? I don't understand what we're going to do for those 10-15 days. Not that it matters but curiosity..:P

Out of curiosity, what other courses do you have besides BMQ/SQ, DP1 Supp Tech?  I just find it odd that guys are getting RSBPs with component transfers, but you're getting nailed in a elemental transfer.

I only had PRES BMQ and SQ, no MOC training...they told me that all Navy Reserves have to do the Regular Force Version of BMQ, and my course wasn't equivalent, the only good thing is my pay incentive during my course is going to be OS(2) because they still gave me my experience.
