Directions to Pet.

This summer I‘m going on a tasking to CFB Petawawa. I live in St.Catharines and I would like to ask the more experienced people here on the best way to get to Pet. Since there are about 20 different ways to get there, which one is the fastest/easiest/has less traffic? Anyone who lives in the Niagara/Hamilton/GTA area could really help me out here.

Also, are there any points of interest on the way there? Good rest stops, anything worth mentioning?

WOW!, amazing site, thanks for the link. It tells me all of the streets/HY‘s I need to use and the distance to travel. However, there is one slight problem: It tells me that driving through NY state would be faster when it isn‘t.

WTF? Don‘t you think driving through Syracuse NY is a bit of a detour?

I tried getting directions from Toronto, thinking it would be easier, not so. It has me driving through Ottawa. **** MapQuest.

I drove it for 8 years. The best way is 401 to 37 north at Bellville to 7 east and turn north at 41 [kaladar] The easiest way is 401 to 41 north at Napanee.[gas and eat at the flying J ] Follow the signs to Pet once you hit 17 just before Pembroke

I agree with you the fastest is 401, 37, 7
