Ah...it makes a lot more sense when you see it from the bride's side.  It definitely doesn't look like that from the groom's side in the pics above.

I guess I just have the mind of a 13-year old boy.

I showed my sister the pictures (not the semi X-rated one), and she was in awe of the skill. She's done some pretty awesome cakes (including a Patrick Roy mask from his Habs days for one of my birthdays), but she was amazed by the skill and detail in the medals.
