Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone could clarify info about reserve officer salary on the website. More specifically on the webpage itself http://www.forces.ca/en/page/payscales-131#officersreserve-2
there are 3 classes A "Direct Entry", B "Former NCM Service (Corporal and above)" and C "Commissioned from the Ranks (CFR)" each with its associated daily pay. (No problem so far)
However if you look at the PDF provided on that same page http://cdn.forces.ca/_PDF2010/PayScalesOffRes_en.pdf there are salaries specified for ROTP, OCTP-NFS and DEO.

For former NCMs, CFR, ROTP and OCTP-NFS there is no conflicting information. For DEO however, there is a significant difference between the salary on the website and on the PDF.

Anyone able to clarify which one is correct? Perhaps I have mistakenly interpreted "Direct Entry" as DEO.

Thanks!

Hmm perhaps its a display problem on my end? (Although I have tried different browsers)
I will copy paste the specific info. (Looking at Second Lieutenant Pay Scale)

On the webpage it gives me:
A (Direct Entry) 103.50 107.80 113.02 116.96

While on the PDF it indicates:
DEO 131.56 135.46 139.54 143.72

Thanks!

it does not say anywhere that para A is DEO.  Para A is ROTP

This is the DEO pay scale:  C 131.56 135.46 139.54 143.72 148.08 152.46 157.08 161.72 166.64 171.60 17

That's what I suspected. I got "Direct Entry" from hovering the mouse pointer over "A" (in the "Entry Plan" column) the mouse-over text says that.

Thank you for the clarification.

I was wrong, the PDF is mislabeled , the website is right.  The official tables are found at the link below:

http://www.cmp-cpm.forces.gc.ca/dgcb-dgras/ps/pay-sol/pr-sol/rfor-ofr-01-eng.asp

Thanks for the link, that PDF should be updated!

So as I understand it, the rate of pay for a DEO (completed degree) would be the same as for a student completing his/her degree in the RESO program?
