Just wondering if anyone knows this. I want to enter the CF but I don't want to wait the usual long time. Does anyone know if you can go into a recruiting center and ask them if there are any opening immediately i.e. can they recruit you right away for something that they need right now. The reason I'm asking is that I've been to the recruiting center before and have had all sorts of jobs thrown at me that lead to all sorts of waiting periods. I don't really care what I do in the military as all I really want is to be in the military.

If you want in, you go in. You follow the same recruiting process as everyone else, and you wait whatever time it takes. If you can't wait, believe me, you'll hate 75% of your time in the CF.
Well for your information. My brother went in on a Monday and was enlisted the same day and left on the Friday. But this was many years ago so I don't know if it's still possible.
That's why I posted this as I know in the past it was done. So, if anyone knows it's still possible please let me know.

Seems you were given the opportunity and you passed it up a few years ago. You have been involved with the Recruiting process for over two years. You should know that the answer is "No", so why are you asking? As for your brother getting in within the week timeframe, we have already called you on that. They weren't even doing that thirty years ago.

Yep…off to France then and join the FFR…recruiting offices open 365, rain or shine....
You could also do that in the CF long ago…BC….before computers….that is...
