Ex-israeli space chief claims Trump almost reveal alien existence

I'm looking forward to trans-medium capabilities going mainstream. It will save space in the garage long term.

We should probably stop fighting each other so we can come together as a planet and go see if those aliens have some sexy resources for us.

Time to tax outer space.

Heck, we should start with inner space... who do we tax to pay for all the radioactive emissions the Sun is emitting?

Will someone not think of the GHG emissions in the Solar system? Because of us Pluto is melting, the only solution is a tax on all forms of energy usage to save the Solar system.

Hold on....We're going to tax the sun as punishment for it giving off heat?

Sadly, that isn't the craziest idea I've heard lately.  I'm in.

The Sun needs to appreciate that as a top 1%’er in the Solar System, it has obligations to the planets to sustain them in a responsible manner. It needs to pay its share.

'Seriously' though (Please note, seriously isn't actually meant that seriously).  Wasn't the last analogue transmission from a space shuttle something along the lines of "We have the alien spacecraft under observance."

Boom.  Transmission ends.  Been encrypted digital ever since.

**Only video I could find at the moment, not the best.

And didn't some of the Apollo crews describe UFO's following their ship, and observing UFO's while they were on the surface of the moon?

I don't doubt that there's something/someone out there.  But his other claims seem pretty far-fetched.

If we were under observation, the shuttle would be of interest as it is the first significant step in reusable spacecraft. For a extra-terrestrial anthropologist it would be an exciting moment and likely worth a paper or two (or alien equivalent).

I've often wondered about the 'zoo hypothesis' where aliens observe us, both in the macro and the micro, and observe significant historical events.  (Many images of important historical events depict UFO's in them.)

We clearly aren't ready, so we're more of a spectacle that needs to be protected than anything.

I know this will sound crazy - feel free to poke fun at me for it, probably well deserved.  But I've always had this 'odd paranoid' tin foil hat feeling when you see the number of UFO's observed around Yellowstone national park.  I've always wondered if it's an anthropologist or a alien school trip on a "So kids, this is how the humans died!" assignment  :Tin-Foil-Hat:

It is possible that future historians/anthropologists may look back at the Yellowstone super volcano and a possible eruption as the culminating event of the "sixth' or Holocene extinction. But I don't believe that humankind will be completely wiped out, although there will likely be several millennia where we have little impact, and the Earth will have a chance to do a bit of a reset ecologically.

I won't see it

We all know that we won't encounter aliens in till April 4th, 2063.

If I were the aliens, I wouldn't even bother with crewed missions. Just some high speed, low drag autonomous craft to screw with the puny humans.
