Did anyone else on the board participate on one of these Ex's?
When I first arrived in 1 RCR almost 30 years ago this was the first Ex I was on. We were based out of Gjoa Haven, NWT. We flew into Sheppards Bay on the Dew Line by hercules from London, Ont. From there it was a twin otter flight to King Williams Island. These were a series of Ex's which placed survival cairns across northern Canada. They also were a forum to show presence in the arctic and interact with northern communities.
