I think @QV was saying he was "not shocked" that the name of the relieved XO had not been released, and I was curious why he found that "not shocking".

Possibly because they identified other personnel by name (like Chief Blonde when he was relieved of a Command Chief position in MARPAC), but the RCN generally hasn't been naming XOs/COs when relieved of duty.

Took about two minutes on the facebook page to see who the XO was, but they seem to not name NWO officers in news releases (hence the double standard). I guess when you can rock a stupid moustache pins of varying colours different standards apply.
