After 400 plus hours of cutting, pinning and stitching, hubby has a new quilt to keep him warm on those year long UN postings... LOL

:warstory: ...Wow!  For that amount of effort, you could have put a decent hatbadge on it...... :warstory:

Seriously, beautiful work

:o WOW! You made that yourself? That is amazing! Very beautiful, I'm sure that your husband will love it.

What can I say Kat, love the man, not what he wears on hs pointy head...lol

For that amount of work, there had better be a scroll saw with my name on it under the tree...LOL

Very nice job niner!  Figuring out your hours even just at minimum wage plus materials, nope, can't afford one!  But if you ever get bored.....;)

If he doesn't start ballin' tears of joy when he sees that he's not a man!  I'm deeply touched and I don't even know ya.  Beautiful work 9D just beautiful.
:crybaby:

As a man, the last thing I would dare do, is take that on a deployment.....imagine coming home with it smudged, small tears, sweat stained, etc, etc, and having to explain it....uh uh....wouldn't go there. Beautiful work though....Allow him to keep it aside.

Absolutely Beautiful Work.  Dont' let too many loggies see it or they'll want one too, like me.
He'll be one Proud owner of a one of a kind, made expecially for him, Logistics warmy quilt.
:D

A few Xmas's back, we rug hooked the Mason's symbol for my father in law.  He didn't say anything but he turned and was quiet for awhile.

Thanks folks, I hope he likes it.  He has been asking for one ever since he saw the one I made for my granpa, (years ago).  I don't mind in the least if he takes it with him where ever he goes, if it gets dirty, it can be washed, torn and it can be resewn...as long as he feels it's a wee bit of home he has with him, that's all that matters.

Anyway, this is my granpa' quilt...(waiting to hear Kat on this capbadge...LOL)
