Hello to the community, first time using a forum so hopefully I dont make to many
mistakes. Just wanted to pass the word along about our special operations/military
store here in Fayetteville, NC. 5 minutes from Ft. Bragg. I wanted to get the word
out as well about our website at www.awsin.com. Our website is dedicated to the
special operations/military warfighter. We only have the highest quality gear, I know
you hear that a lot BUT what makes us different from all the rest of the "tactical gear"
dealers is the fact that we actually MAKE all of our own gear in our own plant. We
have been making US military gear for over 30 years. Our gear is real "go to war"
gear not import stuff. A lot has NSN's to.

We have a huge selection of tactical gear, MOLLE pouches, CQB vests, backpacks,
medical gear, gun mounts, breaching tools, assault ladders, weapons slings, gun
cleaning kits, and the list goes on and on. Only a small amount of our gear is posted
on our website but we add more each week. We also have a 22,000 sq/foot military
"super store" close to Ft. Bragg filled with all the latest gear.

I would appreciate it if you will give us the chance to earn your business, please check
out our site and we are sure you will find something you like. The gear we make is
tough, high quality and very competitive in price. You will not be disappointed. We also
carry a lot of other special ops equipment as well.

Advanced Warfighting Solutions  www.awsin.com

Tactical gear, special ops gear, breaching tools, aircraft assault ladders, vehicle assault platforms.
We have been making this type of gear for the US military for 30 years.

By the way, we also have the 100 rnd and 200 rnd SAW ammo soft pack.  Not the MOLLE SAW pouch but the
actual ammo soft pack that with the plastic housing that fits on the weapon. Available in woodland camo, ACU,
coyote and black.

Please check out our site and at least give us the chance to earn your business.

Just a word of caution there teamguy have you talked with the site owner about advertising your stuff here?

I was not impressed with the way you do business at all.

There are also many Mfgs of tactical gear who build it in their own plant, ie. TAG, HSGI, Eagle, BFG, TT, CP Gear, Drop Zone, ICE and more.

Shameless plug there Cole?  ;D

Nope.  I would have left a few Mfg. names out if it was.  ;D

My post was letting the poster and would be clients know that I had quite a bad dealing with them.

Cheers Darren for putting our names in there. It's funny because I was a little shocked that he was implying that there are no other companies out there that make their own gear, and that their gear are battle proven or war worthy.

My gear has been through many operations as well, and they have also been battle proven with many high remarks. I would never go to a forum and imply that others gear is some how inferior because they were imported into the US. Well, if we use your gear, wouldn't we as Canadian be using imported gear as well?

Just to add one more gear maker to the list that I've got some respect for, which is ATS, even though they don't make many of the gear they sell, the stuff that they do make is top notch.

Darren,

Bill here from AWS, Inc and I agree with you, which is why the guy you were dealing with is not here
any longer. I take people on their word when they say they can do something and in this case he
could not which is why we had to part ways.  As always, being the owner, I am responsible for everything,
good, bad and in the middle.

I did not mean to imply that we were the only ones manf gear, I know all the others and they are good companies
and good guys. I was talking more about our products in general.

So, if I offended anyone out there I apologize. That certainly was not the intent. I will be more careful in the future
with my choice of words.

Bill

You came highly recommended by one one of my suppliers and good friends, so I was kinda unhappy with the way things happend.  I'm glad the guy in question is no longer there and hopefully not to much damage was done.

Based on that info I would deal with AWS Inc again.

Unfortunatly I never got to see the products first hand, however based on the clients I know it's quality goods.  As mentioned there are alot of other companies that make their gear in house, however Bill also makes all the ladders, hooks, breaching gear and other things in house, not in other countries.

Darren,

The ladder/breaching items were the items I was talking about. I would never presume in the sewn nylon tactical gear world
that we were the only ones making our own gear. There are a lot of good companies making good gear and I would never
stoop so low as to think we are the only ones. Unforutnately, one of the side effects of getting larger is growing pains, which
I try to keep to the minimum. There were times when I could handle it all and make sure everything was good to go but as
we get bigger I have to rely on other people. I screen them hard to make sure they share the same goals, values and principles
that got us to this point so we can continue on. I only want the best people. But, some squeek thru. As I said, I take people on
their word and honesty until they prove otherwise. Anybody can put down on paper how good they are and what they can do,
but the real deal is backing it up. You never know this until you give a person a chance to do it.

Bill,

Thanks for clearing things up! I was a bit shocked that someone would imply the things that we thought you had implied. Oh well, water under the bridge! Welcome to Army.ca!

Cheers,

D.

Darren,

Needless to say, it did come out wrong and I will be more careful in the future. Had a good lesson
in Forum 101 here. One thing I did learn quick was that results are instant. It will be interesting to
see all the site has to offer and how to sucessfully navigate thru everything. Just want to get along
with everyone.

Regards,
Bill

No worries, forums never work well at conveying what and how we want.  I'm sure I could of handled our dealing better, as well as this thread.  Hopefully we do something together in the future.

As Derek said above, welcome to the forum  ;D
