Police on Queensland's Sunshine Coast have referred two youths to the Child Protection Unit after Olympic swimming champion Dawn Fraser was allegedly attacked in a home invasion.
Fraser, 72, says she was awoken by an intruder on Friday night while she was staying at her daughter's Noosaville house.
She told Channel Seven she was startled by a teenage boy who grabbed her by the throat and threatened to kill her.
Fraser says she decided to take him on.
"I grabbed him around the ear and hair and kneed him in the groin," she said.
