It was extremely ironic because I had this exact conversation with an American friend on mine two days ago. And I did enjoy this http://www.crooksandliars.com/2007/07/10/fox-attacks-the-environment-they-distort-we-reply/
I love watching the extremes on both sides fighting it out - one sound byte at a time. People seem to choose a side and then find out what their beliefs are, selectively picking up facts and sound bytes. But here is what I want to ask:
Do you think that American politics and media have become so polarized that they can no longer objectively report the news? If this trend continues would it ultimately lead to a cultural schism - where "Left" and "Right" are so far from eachother, they can't even communicate?
(or is this way to hot of a topic to discuss)?
